Windows 11 24H2 is getting a Windows 10 Taskbar Feature

As per PhantomOcean3 on X, a new Widgets taskbar button position (next to the system tray, similar to where the news and interests button is in Windows 10) for left aligned taskbars is being tested in the Beta Channel.

  1. Widgets has not functioned on my PC for a long time, and I cannot fix it, even reinstalling Windows does not fix it. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Widgets numerous times, with no luck. I really wanted to try this new experience out as I use the Beta channel daily, but I cannot as I'm simply unable to make Widgets work. šŸ˜ž

  2. Possibly size-changeable customisable features and features to alter the contents of colours, and just wondering if there's truth in old style widgets from previous window's operating systems? And the return of some features that were just useful.

  3. speaking of copilot. if you go to search page settings on Edge you will find two copilot options. One labelled "Copilot response on search results" and another "Scrol to open Copilot". some may wish to disable these so for that reason i mention them.
