Couldn't agree more AMD didn't even try, and Nvidia went off the deep end, they have always been greedy but this was blatant price gouging. I Don't think I am the only one who no longer cares if Nvidia is the "best" anymore, I just can't support a company that treats its customers with so little respect. Did they really think consumers were stupid enough to not figure out that the 4080 12GB was just a 4070 renamed so they could charge 50% more for it, that's how little Nvidia thinks of us dudes.

If you play one game on 1080p woth RT such as Cyberbugg 2077 it could be fine gpu

The 4060ti (really a 4050ti) is selling for 550CAN here in Canada, the 3050 series it should be replacing is at 334 at this time at the lowest, this is the price it should be. I will not take a low end card and pretend its a 60 series. The 70 series is really the 60 series. Sorry nvidia.

I understand why the 4070 barely beating the 4080 is a bad thing but it might be a good idea to provide a bit of background for those that might not: for example, that the xx70 usually beats the previous generation top-tier.
Terrible GPU. This die size and 128bit bus is an antry level GPU ala GTX1050. It targets 1080p gaming only. It's being pitched as midrange which is very dishonest.
I'd love to see a 4090 competitor. And one with the support for creators. It's nice that all of them do AV1, but it would have been nicer if at least Nvidia would have made AV1 on the 3000s.
That said, I expect good things from the 5000 series. But they will be over priced. And all that nonsense.
