Nokia 5.4
NOKIA recently launched a new mid-to-low-end mobile phone NOKIA 5.4 in Hong Kong, and launched it on the market at a price of $1,798. Let’s take a look at NOKIA 5.4 with everyone this time. What is the attraction?
Official website and information
Nokia 5.4 entry-level mobile phone enjoys flagship body design
NOKIA 5.4 adopts a beautiful appearance similar to NOKIA 8.3. The front of the fuselage adopts a 6.39-inch aperture screen (1560 x 720), and the aperture part of the screen is equipped with a 16 million Selfie lens. As for the back of the camera, it was changed to 8.3, using a plastic body, and the top of the back is equipped with a round lens module, and provides blue and purple colors. Due to the high screen-to-body ratio of NOKIA 5.4, the body size is only 161 x 76 x 8.7 mm, and the weight is only 181G. In addition, the four sides are designed with arc edges, making one-handed operation lighter and more comfortable.
▲The opening part of the screen is equipped with a 16 million Selfie lens
▲ There is a USB Type-C slot and microphone at the bottom of the machine, and a 3.5mm headphone slot on the top.
▲The power button and volume button are provided on the right side of the fuselage.
Nokia 5.4
▲ In addition, there is a true three card slot in the upper left position, and supports up to 512GB MicroSD card expansion, and there is a Google Assistant dedicated key under the card slot.
System and performance
▲ NOKIA 5.4 is equipped with Android 10 system. The interface adopts native Android design and simple style. Because it is an Android One series, it promises to support at least 2 years of system updates and 3 years of system security updates. After deducting the Android 10 native system, the 128GB ROM version still has 110GB for users to use, which is quite sufficient for low-end and medium-end phones.
▲NOKIA 5.4 is equipped with Snapdragon 622 processor, built-in 4GB RAM + 128GB ROM, battery capacity is 4000mAh, etc.
▲It can be seen from the scores of various running software that NOKIA 5.4 equipped with Snapdragon 622 processor has a mid-range performance.
Photography short test
▲ This time NOKIA 5.4 is equipped with a four-lens combination consisting of a 48-megapixel primary lens + a 5-megapixel wide-angle lens + a 2-megapixel depth of field + a 2-megapixel telephoto lens.
▲If you want to keep more details, you can select the “4:3 ratio 48MP” icon in the native camera interface, and you can shoot at 48 million pixels.
▲Cinema mode provides 21:9 film example recording, and H-Log mode recording with greater dynamic range.

Nokia 5.4 endurance test
Settings: 4G, Bluetooth on, positioning on
Test time: 12:43-21:43
Total test time length: 9hr
Start test battery: 100%
Total power consumption throughout the test: 58%
Screen time: 4 hours 58 minutes
project | testing time | Use battery | remaining battery |
---|---|---|---|
Test start (standby) | 12:43 | To | 100% |
Basic call and communication use (standby and Internet) | 12:43-14:38 | 11% | 89% |
POKEMON GO | 13:48-14:48 | 13% | 76% |
Youtube | 14:48-15:18 | 7% | 69% |
Basic call and communication use (standby) | 15:18-19:15 | 3% | 66% |
PUBG | 19:15-20:15 | 17% | 49% |
Basic call and communication use (standby and Internet) | 20:49-21:43 | 7% | 42% |
The endurance performance of NOKIA 5.4 is acceptable. I tested it with a single-card 4G network. The total power consumption of the test was 58%. It is estimated that it can be used for about 8 hours with the screen. This depends on the Nokia 5.4 equipped with a battery with a capacity of up to 4000 mAh. In terms of daily applications, one hour of surfing the Internet consumes about 11%. As for Youtube, one hour of playback consumes only 7% of power. Therefore, there is no major problem with daily use for one day or even two days. The power consumption of the game is relatively low. In the test of 1 hour Pubg Mobile (low frame rate) and Pokemon Go, they consume 13% and 17% respectively, which are medium power consumption.
to sum up
Although NOKIA 5.4 is inferior to domestic mobile phones in terms of pricing, NOKIA is equipped with a non-productive system and is guaranteed to be upgraded, so it is better than other brands of mobile phones in terms of system security. At a price of $1,798, it is still quite competitive.
