According to foreign media 9to5Gooogle, it is still unclear whether it is an abnormal bug in the hardware of the monitor or the software, which causes a purple light bar with a pixel matrix to appear in some areas of the screen for no reason. According to the current cases reported by some users, the above situation occurs mainly when using the S22 Ultra mobile phone to watch YouTube videos and play games.

In addition, when the screen resolution specification is set to the highest QHD 1440p, and the natural color mode is used, the purple light bar is also more likely to appear. So far, Samsung officials have not responded to this. Some netizens reported that they suggested a temporary solution. You can try setting the resolution of the mobile phone screen to FHD, and you should get some improvements.
Since it is the first to receive the first batch of S22 series models, the Exynos 2200 processor version equipped with Samsung’s own four-nanometer process is launched for the European market. As for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 version, it will only be shipped in the near future, and it remains to be seen whether similar strange light bars will appear.
