Samsung’s flagship new generation flagship mobile phone, the Galaxy S22 series, was launched in March. According to foreign media GSMArean, some foreign users recently complained on the official forum that after purchasing the flagship S22 Ultra, when using map navigation applications such as Google Maps or Waze, the mobile phone will appear for no reason. There is no GPS signal, or the warning prompt of abnormal GPS signal is displayed, so that the mobile phone cannot provide map navigation and positioning functions normally, and even if the mobile phone system version has been updated to the latest, or restarted to set the GPS function and compass calibration, still Still can not get significant improvement, so many users feel troubled.
It is understood that some users have reported that the S22 Ultra mobile phone has abnormal GPS signal errors. At present, the main affected model is the Exynos 2200 processor version for the European market and equipped with Samsung’s own four-nanometer process. As for the Qualcomm version equipped with the Snapdragon S8 Gen 1 processor, there has been no report of an abnormal GPS error.
After successively receiving complaints from users, according to the forum administrator, Samsung is currently working on fixing this bug and is expected to release an updated version of the system to improve it, but has not yet provided a clear time for the release of the updated version point.
