May 31st news, yesterday evening, @Redmi Redmi officially announced the launch of a new summer color scheme of Redmi K40S, Qingxue, which will go on sale at 20:00 tonight, priced from 2199 yuan (8GB+256GB).
It is reported that the Redmi K40S is a small iteration of the Redmi K40. The biggest upgrade point is that it supports OIS optical image stabilization.
Lu Weibing, president of Xiaomi Group China and general manager of the Redmi brand, previously posted on Weibo to recommend the Redmi K40S, claiming that it is the most capable Snapdragon 870 mobile phone in 2022.
In terms of ID design, the Redmi K40S has changed from the rounded appearance of the K40 to the trendy small standing edge design, which is tougher and sharper, the weight is reduced by 1 gram, and the thickness is 0.1 mm thinner.
The front adopts a 6.67-inch Samsung E4 OLED straight screen with 2400*1080 resolution, supports 120Hz high refresh rate, peak brightness of 1300 nits, supports MEMC dynamic image quality compensation, and can insert frames to 60fps for low frame rate video content.
In terms of core configuration, the Redmi K40S has the Snapdragon 870 processor + full blood LPDDR5 memory + UFS 3.1 flash memory “iron triangle” blessing. The heat dissipation has been upgraded from liquid-cooled copper tubes to 3112 square millimeters of VC liquid-cooled heat dissipation, with a 400% increase in area, built-in 4500mAh battery, and support for 67W fast charging.
The Redmi K40S uses a 48-megapixel main camera + 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle + 2-megapixel macro lens combination, and the main camera supports OIS optical image stabilization.
