Compared with the K40, the biggest upgrade of the K40S is that it supports OIS optical image stabilization. Optical image stabilization is the most recognized image stabilization technology by the public. It compensates for the light path where hand shake occurs through movable parts, thereby reducing blurred photos.
Under normal circumstances, turning on this function can increase the shutter speed by 2-3 stops, so that the hand-held shooting will not produce blurring, and the effect is very obvious for beginners.
In terms of core configuration, the Redmi K40S uses a 6.67-inch E4 AMOLED straight screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is equipped with a first-generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor, and has a rear 48MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide-angle and 2MP macro, and supports OIS optics.
