CES 2021 is going on right now, and Intel just finished their presentation! They announced some Rocket Lake chips and gave us their future roadmap.
Later this year, Intel should be releasing their very first Alder Lake x86 Hybrid CPUs.
They’re built on Intel’s 10nm node, and they use a combination of high-performance CPU cores and high-efficiency cores to offer great performance and battery life at the same time.
This is what Apple has been doing for years with their own custom Apple Silicon, ever since the A10 Fusion in the iPhone 7.
In this video, I go through what to expect with Intel’s new Alder Lake chips, and we’ll talk about how they’ll compare to Apple’s M1X chips coming later this year.
