Following Samsung’s announcement of the schedule for upgrading its Galaxy phones and tablets to Android 13, ASUS also announced to users of the Zenfone and e-sports ROG Phone series on its official Twitter the push time for the mobile operating system to be upgraded.
ZenFone flagship series, currently only three mobile phones can support the upgrade of Android 13, the 5.9-inch small flagship Zenfone 9 launched in August this year will be the first to get the upgrade version in December, and the other two are the Zenfone 8 series launched last year, including Zenfone 8 and the flip three-lens Zenfone 8 Filp, the new version of the system is expected to be launched from January next year.

In the flagship ROG Phone series of e-sports, the ROG Phone 6 series launched this year has a total of 5 mobile phones that support the Android 13 system upgrade. According to the announced schedule, it is expected to be launched in the first quarter of 2023 next year, including: equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 9000 + Processor ROG Phone 6D, ROG Phone 6D Ultimate and ROG Phone 6D Batman Edition, these three models. As well as ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.

As for the ROG Phone 5 and ROG Phone 5s series launched last year, it is expected that the system upgrade will not be available until the second quarter of 2023.
