iPad How To Clean Screen And Fix Flickering LCD, How To Fix Blinking iPad LCD Without Replacing LCD



If you have the same issue with your iPad screen Unresponsive or blinking/flickering you can try out my fix. It will not cost you any money.

Unresponsive:
1. Clean the Screen with dust-free cloth on the front or a microfiber cloth.
2. Remove the Case and/or Screen Protector
3. Turn on Touch Accommodations – Settings – General – Accessibility – Touch Accommodations
4. Turn Off Tap to Wake – Settings – General – Accessibility – find ‘Tap to Wake’ and turn that Off
5. Force restart/soft reset of the iPad – Press and quickly release the volume up and the volume down button, press and hold the top button down for at least 5 seconds until the Apple logo appears.
6. For Apple Pencil – Disconnect and Reconnect it.

Flickering
1. Restart iPad
2. Check Auto-Brightness Feature – Settings – Accessibility – Display & Text Size – Turn Off Auto-Brightness
3. Reduce Motion and Transparency – Settings – Accessibility – Motion – Turn On Reduce Motion
4. Check iPad Apps – Make sure you have the latest version of the app.
5. Put your iPad with the back up and screen down towards the table and try to gently press on the back, this can sometime fix flickering screen

Why is my iPad screen flashing:
Turn off Auto-Brightness to Repair that iPad Screen Keeps Flickering. It is possible that you turn on Auto-Brightness, which causes the iPad screen to flicker. The feature of Auto-Brightness is that iPad can automatically adjust brightness of the screen according to the ambient light.

These adjustments improve the performance of the iPad device to a large extent. You can make the adjustments by following the steps below.

Clean and remove small scratches:
You can remove small scratches from you screen with a pencil eraser, but it takes some time, so you have to be a bit patient.

glass scratch remover polish (often used for display cases)
a microfibre cloth (available in every supermarket)
Method
First you should provide a soft surface to work on, to prevent further scratches.
Clean the display with a dust-free cloth on the front. This is best dome with a microfiber cloth. Under no circumstances may other fabrics or cloths be used! Only a microfiber cloth is gentle enough.
