I thought it was quite intriguing that up until now Nvidia was still manufacturing the RTX 2060 and GTX 1660 series. However recently ITHome has reported that they have ceased production of those cards. They were originally still in production to curb the shortages during the crypto mining boom. However now that there’s no mining boom and overall demand in the market has fallen there’s no reason to continue manufacturing these cards. Along with that AMD’s RX 6600 just offers a way better value, as it’s considerably cheaper on and performs significantly better than a GTX 1660. Along with that we have some leaks pertaining to Nvidia’s next 40 series graphics card the RTX 4070 Ti AKA the 4080 12GB. The 4080 16GB doesn’t appear to be selling well at all and alternate in Germany is already selling the card for below MSRP which isn’t too common for new hardware.
