Windows 11 Gaming Performance Fresh Install or Upgrade – 16 Games Benchmark

With the adoption rate of Windows 11 increasing day-by-day many PC gamers are probably considering the switch. However, one main concern I’ve read about online from lots of users is that they’re not sure if they should do a “Fresh Install” or just upgrade from their existing Windows 10 install from the settings menu. Anecdotal evidence points towards gaming performance loss and bugs from doing an upgrade whereas a fresh install yields better performance bug free. Therefore, I decided to put that to the test and see if there’s any large or noticeable negative impacts to performance when upgrading an existing install of Windows 10 to Windows 11 on a Gaming PC.
