I have just changed from Android to iPhone and am so disappointed with CarPlay. It is so far behind Android Auto.
You cannot actually pinch and zoom on the map, you cannot just click on an alternative route on the screen and the wallpaper is so boring. Also the app menu is on the wrong side of the screen.

I have a 2020 4runner and to use Carplay, I must be plugged in to the USB; it doesn't recoginze wirelessly. So, I assume #5, Shareplay will not work in my car?

Why my music keep cuts off?!
Mine types “what do you want to say 🙄” every time I text someone and then it doesn’t say what I texted it’s just silent…
I’ve been unable to find a setting that will mute the music/radio when directions are announced. This is my most desired feature.
