It's things like this why I don't buy Apple products. When the Adobe/Apple fiasco happened during the beginning of the iphone, I swore I wasn't going to buy Apple ever again. I hate how they do business.

When I was young we got a new pair of pants, a shirt, and new underwear and socks for Xmas every year. For our birthdays we got new shoes or more clothes. If we wanted toys, we mowed neighbor's yards, picked up and returned soda bottles, or sold scrap metal.

Their fingerprint sensor was stolen, their biometric collection method was stolen, their battery tech was stolen, their chiclet keyboard design was sort of stolen(they attempted a patent on a design they had exactly nothing to do with), just so much. Apple is one of, if not the, biggest thief in the tech industry. Many companies will steal ideas, but Apple is at a whole other level and they've gotten away with it for way too long.

It’s funny, I have an Apple watch and I love it but the blood oximeter is like the LEAST used function for me – if you’re healthy you don’t need it and if you’re sick, you should go to a doctor, not rely on a smart watch – same goes for their EKG/ECG capabilities
