  1. Ive been using the Apple watch for about 6 weeks, and I am certain that it over-estimates calories by quite a bit. I know this because i was eating a small calorie surplus to build muscle, based on the calories shown on the watch, and i gained WAY too much weight too fast. So it was clearly over-estimating my calories burnt.

  2. Very helpful – my series 4 often goes to Grey out – no hr info during my workout – which drives me bananas when I am into HIT and I look at my watch and there is no hr – thinking about upgrading to the 6 or 7 (I do love my Apple Watch ) – no one is talking about the hr sensors except you – so congrats – You Are the Champion! Ha!

  3. After i finished working out with the weight lifting feature it said I burned 1.2k calories so im guessing it assumes i am constantly wokeing out without counting breaks and anything besides my workout

  4. hello mate…is that 6series and in generall any tracker in market that is actually helping on weight lifting? beside heart rate monitor that in most occasions we dont care at all….
i know that all those are perfect for cardio but you sugggest anything for serious weight lifters?

  5. Just ordered my first Apple Watch and it’s the series 6. I’ve always worn a garmin and hr sensor pretty much blows in the gym for weights and stairmaster and for runs honestly. Pumped for this upgrade!

  6. Thank you for review. Have you noticed that The HR sensor lost signal during heavy set and when you finish The set it comes back accurate ? I know this problem is for blood constriction in forearms. Is it improve in The Apple Watch 6 ?

  7. Be careful with your curl form, youre bringing the shoulder up on every rep because the weight is to heavy for you to keep a proper form. I’d avise to lower the weight to avoid shoulder injury. Thanks for the review.

  8. Wow very nice video! But in your opinion what is the best solution currently available on the market for those who train at an advanced level in crossfit but can't stand the heart rate monitor and don't want to give up the advanced smart functions currently developed? I was thinking of apple watch 6 with third party apps for training, but what similar android solution would there be? with garmin in my opinion many smart features are lost and samsung hr monitor is really not very reliable…

  9. Thanks for the review,. Agree the HR graphs are terrible! Have you tried using Polar Beat on the AW? I use the H10 strap for accuracy but to look at those graphs is going backwards.

  10. Hey man, great video as always.

Question…is there a way to track your step count for a workout (outdoor walk, to be specific) on the Apple Watch? I just cannot find it if there is.

Have a 945 and an Apple Watch, trying to decide which to keep. Not a hardcore athlete, just looking to stay in shape.

Love the buttons and battery life in the 945. Love everything else about the Apple Watch. Modern day problems, huh?

  11. I hit don’t like at the moment I have seen You showing the nasty looking watches… changed it to like after still watching it…good review so far. I’m comparing Apple Watch 4 with the Garmin Fenix 6 for a the last 5 months. In multi sport the Fenix wins smart watch daily use the Apple Watch wins.
Think I’ll wait for the Apple Watch series 7
