This quick and simple guide will help you enable battery percentage on your iPod touch without using a jailbreak.

As you may know, the iPod touch lineup has never received the ability to display battery percentage in its status bar. This is due to the lack of hardware in the incredibly small and thin devices. Using the above process, you can essentially “force” the iPod into showing a percentage; however, it may not be entirely accurate due to hardware limitations.
This process is supported on any version of iOS 9 and will also work for iOS 8 and 7. iOS 10 is currently not supported.
The file name to search for in iBackUpBot is called “com.apple.springboard.plist”

Hey i did evrything right but at the restoring part it brings an error "iTunes backup module not found"
More idiocy by Apple. Since Steve Jobs died they are a disorganised mess, but they make up for it by an excellent phone support
It says my account is suspended for the codes. So I copied the code from the video and put where the code was supposed to go and I pressed restore and it said error. 😪😪😓

Mine says it supports like iOS 12 so it’s confusing lol but If you have an iOS 12 like me you can turn off your phone while it’s charging and then turn it back on and it will say your iPods battery percentage. But not if it’s not charging.
