Alongside the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro, Apple also released the Apple Watch Series 5. Aside from the always-on-display, there weren’t many changes from the Apple Watch Series 4. I’ve been using the Apple Watch Series 5 for a month now, let’s go over what’s good and what’s not so good.

  1. I think the Apple Watch should be more stripped down. Sounds crazy but hear me out. If they only would focus the Apple Watch on Messages, Fitness and being a solid watch, the battery life would improve, software would probably run smoother and more people would know what they need an Apple Watch for

  2. I just got the series 6 space gray aluminum ! Then had to get the series 5 ceramic for that all white case 😍🤍❄️ worth every penny and I’m keeping both !

  3. maybe one day apple will consider an apple watch with a simpler version of watchos like what huawei and huami do with their smartwatches with a focus on battery life and giving the essential functions of a smartwatch but still with that apple ecosystem integration

  4. I bought my first ever Apple Watch – a series 5 – about a month ago. I assume that Apple have significantly updated the software, as I have none of the problems discussed in this video. There are no obvious bugs and the battery life is actually far better than the advertised 18 hours. I use the GPS for 1 – 2 hour workouts every day and still end up with around 50% battery at the end of the day. I don’t need the always on display, as the raise to wake feature works extremely well. However, I do like the compass and noise meter, so glad I didn’t buy the Series 4 to save money.

  5. Omg! I am a battery watcher too. But I just found out about an app called BatteryPhone and this complication gives your phone and watch percentage together.

  6. I got a Series 5, I’m coming from not having an Apple Watch. So I’m loving it. But I do think series 5 was more geared towards people with series 3-0 but also to people who don’t even own one.

  7. As you said, it's all relative. I've had my Series 3 for a couple weeks now, and it's the first Apple Watch I've ever had. To me, this Series 3 is the coolest tech I've ever owned, and I'm a gadget junkie. You weren't kidding when you said Apple is so far ahead of the competition. It's true. The speed, style, and integration of WatchOS is far ahead of competitors. I tried 3 other non-Apple smartwatches before I put up the money for the Apple Watch Series 3 (all the other watches were cheaper but claimed to be just as good or better) and they were just not worth the cost or my time. And one of them was the newest and most expensive Fitbit. At the end of the day, I'm thrilled with my Apple Watch. It's an amazing product, and I can't wait to see what the Series 6 brings in 2020.

  8. Bought the series 5 aluminum, found a excellent deal in street market for a new S4 44mm stainless steel black for $200. After using it. There no different. I ddint like always on display is very distracting at night since it still to bright. Is the same watch but s4 is giving me a day xtra battery life vs s5 with always on display ( i know u can turn it off). If both are the same price get the S5 but seeing the fire sale for s4 stainless steel at $400 you will be stupid to buy a S5 at retail price

  9. It’s hard to agree that upgrade from series 3 is a gigantic experience. I remember when 4 series arrived people were saying that this is just cosmetic upgrade. So if 4-5 is about the same what is the reason to upgrade from series 3?

  10. About not finding the compass app : it might be because it's actually not there ! The app will only appear on your watch if it's also on your phone; and it may not be on the phone if you've allowed iOS to automatically offload unused apps.
