In COCOA, which was issued on June 30, the corrected version of the iOS version “1.1.1” has been fixed, and the positive number has started issuing the processing number necessary for application registration from 3rd. The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare is calling for expanded use of the application.

The new corona contact confirmation app COCOA is designed to record the contact when people who install the app on the device indirectly contact each other within 15 minutes within 1 meter. If any of your recent contacts have a positive response, you will be notified and given appropriate action advice.

The app does not handle personally identifiable information, such as name or phone number, and does not record location information. Data stored encrypted on the user’s device will be automatically deleted after 14 days.

COCOA is number one in the “Medical” section of the App Store as of 11:30 pm on July 8.

The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare has announced that the number of downloads of the application has reached about 6.1 million by 5 pm on the 8th.
