With iOS 15, the official version released the other day, the “Maps” app has undergone a major evolution. Apple product designers share screenshots of the new map, including “Detailed City Experience” and “3D View.”
“3D view” displays the road structure in an easy-to-understand manner
On the iOS15 map, you can check information on altitude, roads, trees, buildings, tourist attractions, etc. in more detail than ever before, “Detailed city experience”, detailed road information such as right and left turn lanes, pedestrian crossings, and complicated interchanges. “3D view” for the purpose, “interactive globe” that allows you to discover the beauty of nature, etc. have been added, but what is the actual function?

The transportation map has also been updated to automatically follow the route of the selected transportation and notify the user when the time to get off is approaching.
