On October 27, local time, it was revealed that Apple TV + will release a new comedy series “Platonic” starring Rose Byrne and Seth Rogen. The series will be produced by Sony Pictures Television for Apple.

The release date of “Platonic” is undecided

“Platonic” is a 10-episode, 30-minute comedy series in which Burn and Rogen play a childhood friend who reunited as an adult.

It depicts two former best friends (played by Burn and Rogen) who met in their youth, reunited as adults and trying to repair the ditch that led to their disagreement. As they spend their time as friends, their lives become unstable and give them the opportunity to rethink their choices.

Burn and Rogen, who co-starred in the comedy movie “Neighbors,” and Nicholas Stoller, who directed the movie, will once again team up for “Platonic.” Byrne, Rogen and Connor Welch are executive producers.

The release date has not been announced so far.
