requirement
Settings → [My name] → iCloud → Contacts
The trick presented here requires that you have activated iCloud for your contacts. To check this, go to the Settings app at the top of your name and choose the "iCloud" option. Here, the entry "Contacts" must be activated, so the switch is set to green.
Since every iPhone user automatically has 5GB of free iCloud storage, chances are good that you'll be able to recover your deleted contacts.
