In the Power On newsletter released by Gurman, he shared the update roadmap for new Mac devices equipped with M4 series chips. The expected situation is as follows:

A low-end 14-inch MacBook Pro equipped with M4 will be launched before the end of 2024;

24-inch iMac with M4 to be launched before the end of 2024;

New 14-inch and 16-inch high-end MacBook Pro equipped with M4 Pro/Max chips to be launched in late 2024/early 2025;

Mac mini with M4 and M4 Pro configurations launching in late 2024/early 2025;

The new 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air will be available around spring 2025;

Mac Studio equipped with high-end M4 chip will be launched in mid-2025;

A Mac Pro equipped with an M4 Ultra chip will be launched in the second half of 2025.

Gurman once again reiterated that Apple has internally tested the M3 Ultra chip and may equip it on Mac Studio and Mac Pro products in the future, but he also said that some high-end Mac models will skip the M3 series of chips.
