A leaker posted a prediction that the rear camera lens of the iPhone 16 Pro series will be coated using atomic layer deposition (ALD) to effectively suppress flare and ghosting.
Improvements to the iPhone16 Pro series also seem to focus on the camera.
Leaker yeux1122 posted that a lens with ALD coating is being tested as a rear camera lens for the iPhone 16 Pro series.
The camera seems to be the main focus of the improvements to the iPhone16 Pro series this time as well.
In addition to improving the lens coating, the iPhone 16 Pro series cameras have increased the number of pixels in the ultra-wide-angle camera from 12 million pixels to 48 million pixels, and the iPhone 16 Pro is equipped with a 5x optical telephoto camera by adopting a tetra prism.
