According to reports from foreign media Macrumors, Apple on Tuesday updated the Apple Watch’s supporting documents, emphasizing that the new silicon rubber Solo Loop of the Apple Watch may increase in length over time, as shown at the bottom of the Solo Loop product page. The word also mentions relevant information.
Foreign media 9to5Mac reporter Michael Steeber said that Apple has also updated its printable Solo Loop size guide and provided more specific instructions. The guide now recommends that users wrap the sizing tool tightly around the wrist, usually they wear the watch on the wrist, and make sure that the tool feels tight and does not slide up and down.
If the arrow on the size tool finally points to a line between the two numbers, it is recommended that the user choose the smaller of the two numbers. The guide has been updated with some visual effects to help customers choose the right size.
Note: Apple’s notice that Solo Loop may increase in length over time does not apply to braided Solo Loop straps made of polyester yarn.
Solo Loop and Braided Solo Loop are stretchable one-piece straps, designed for “comfort and fit”, each strap has nine sizes to choose from. It is important to choose the right size, because if the Apple Watch package ordered by the customer contains a Solo Loop, the entire device needs to be returned if the strap needs to be replaced if it is not worn properly.
