Apple releases iOS 14.1 and iPadOS 14.1: multiple bug fixes are resolved

According to Apple’s release notes, iOS 14.1 introduced some bug fixes. It solves a major problem that caused some emails to be sent from the wrong alias. It also fixes an issue that may cause widgets and icons to be displayed in the wrong size. In addition, it also fixes a bug in the calculator application that may prevent the result 0 from appearing.

The update also adds support for 10-bit HDR video playback and editing in photos of iPhone 8 and later versions, and improves compatibility with Ubiquiti wireless access points.

iOS 14.1 updates are as follows:

-Solved the problem that some gadgets, folders and icons displayed reduced size on the home screen.

-Resolved an issue where dragging widgets on the home screen may delete the application from the folder.

-Fixed the problem that some mails in the mail were sent from the wrong alias.

-Fixed an issue that may prevent the caller ID from displaying area information.

-Fixed an issue where selecting the zoom display mode and alphanumeric password on some devices may cause the emergency call button on the lock screen to overlap with the text input box.

-Solved the problem that some users occasionally could not download or add songs to their library when viewing albums or playlists.

-Fixed an issue that could prevent the result 0 from appearing in the calculator.

-Solved the problem that the resolution of streaming video may be temporarily reduced when the playback starts.

-Fixed an issue where some users could not set Apple Watch for family members.

-Solved the problem of incorrect display of the Apple Watch case material in the Apple Watch app.

-Resolved an issue in the file application that could cause some cloud service providers managed by MDM to incorrectly display content as unavailable.

-Improve compatibility with Ubiquiti wireless access points.

iOS 14.1 is expected to be installed on the upcoming iPhone 12 and 12 Pro on Friday. Apple is also testing the iOS 14.2 update and has provided developers with three beta versions of the iOS 14.2 update.
