HomePod mini now available in Taiwan and Mexico

HomePod mini

On November 16th, HomePod mini went on sale in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States. A week has passed since then, and HomePod mini is now available in Taiwan and Mexico, which were announced to be available later this year.

Already out of stock in Taiwan

Apple has announced that it will launch the HomePod mini “later this year” in Taiwan, Mexico and China, and it has been confirmed that sales have begun in Taiwan and Mexico. The selling prices are set at NT $ 3,000 (about 11,000 yen) and Mexican pesos (135,000 yen), respectively, and the selling prices in Mexico are higher than in other countries.

The delivery time of HomePod mini in both countries is within one day in Mexico, while it is shipped in Taiwan on January 16th, which shows that it is in short supply as in Japan.

The delivery date of HomePod mini in Japan is announced as “2020/12/17 – 2020/12/24” as of November 25, but in European countries it is January as in Taiwan. Subsequent deliveries have been announced, and it is highly likely that the HomePod mini’s global shortage will be resolved a little further.

China still

The release of the HomePod mini has not yet been confirmed in China, where the release date is announced as “late this year”, probably due to the shortage of goods. HomePod mini is expected to be in high demand in China as in other countries, and it may take a little longer to build a production system that can meet that demand.
