  3. Great video. Exactly what i was looking for. A way to Play my PS2 collection without scattering cases everywhere, and a way to use it with wireless controllers. Hoping to try and use a set of PS3 controllers to keep it all same same. Do you know how those adapters work with multiplayer? Do they at all? Can multiple controllers connect to one or would multiple adapters be needed?

  6. needing someone to make a popstarter disc text filee for legend of dragoon so i can have it use the hotkey to swap from disc 2 to disc 1 disc 2 to disc 3 etc cant get it to work so far and all the info is outdated its popstarter multi disc swap for playstation 1 that are loading from ssd drive

  12. Bro there is a lot of value in having your consoles on modern TV’s. But THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS?? That’s brand new ceramic brakes in my civic. That’s 20% of my rent. Hearing the price broke my heart and seems unjustified. Thats Coming from someone who’s very financially comfortable even. Imagine the amount of PS2 games I could get in a lot price for $300.

  13. That's an awesome easy setup. I dusted off my old PS2 slim recently, after finding a copy of FF XII for a very reasonable price at thrift store. I had never played the game before, and it made me come to the realization that back in the heyday, the only games I spent my time on were the Tony Hawk's and GTA's. There's a shitload of games I've never given myself a chance to try. With something like this, I can open a whole new realm of gaming without having to resort to eating ramen for a month. Great video.

  14. I've seen the BlueRetro adapter when exploring Amazon when I got tired of buying up as many PS2 controllers that were good at a retro convention or retro game store. Then I found Brook Wingman Converter which works on all later gen consoles and has a USB port in it for direct connection with controllers that can't connect to it wirelessly. It also has 2 features of Turbo mode/settings for certain buttons and remapping controller buttons if the game doesn't provide it,

    And this is coming from someone who’s had every PS since the PS1 in 1995.

  21. For Dreamcast, don't use the 5X, use a VGA to HDMI adapter.
    Scart, SVideo and Composite don't use the VGA mode and the 5X actually looks worse than the native VGA mode.
    Source: The money I would've wasted on a 5X if it weren't for my PS2 which does need it.

  29. i got a question. if u get one of these mods cause your on original hardware having the roms on a harddrive or memory card will it let you play it at the same performance of the discs.

    or is it like emulation and the performance is gonna vary
