Apex Legends In New Danger As Fortnite Grows with apex Releasing almost two years after Fortnite, it’s clear that Apex Legends was influenced in many ways by Epic Games’ smash-hit battle royale. Though the live-service model has existed in the gaming industry for decades, it rarely existed outside the world of MMOs until Fortnite came along. Fortnite’s free-to-play approach and its introduction of a Battle Pass have changed the gaming industry for good, with Apex Legends being one of the few that’s adopted a similar model and actually found some success. However, Apex Legends’ formula doesn’t share all of its DNA with Fortnite.

i dont think apex should get its own show cause in the tales from the out lands it contradicts titanfall lore and i can guarantee they will keep doing that

Apex is a better game it just has far worse marketing support and they refuse to remove toxic things that players can’t stand (lifeline passive) (horizon’s hitbox falling out of the sky silently and grenade spamming you with a braindead ult). The solutions are quite obvious people are just terrified of the c-word. Change. Make the game fun -> people will play it. Make the game toxic -> people won’t play it. Also a way to bring the community together like the option to fill firing range and hang out with/meet ppl. So simple.
Its a shame. I finally crossed to the darkside and started playing Fortnite. As much as I loved Apex as a Season 0 player in its current state its just not fun anymore. Ranked sucks, matchmaking sucks and the game has grown stale. With fortnite i play zero build and i dont feel like i have to sweat. Its actually fun to play and has thebmost insane skin collabs ive ever seen.
They need more permanent modes !! Add modes to mixtape!! No sense in creating these modes and only giving us a week or 2 to enjoy them.! Also apex will remain in fortnites shadow although it's a better game.this is because so many young kids like 6 -13 yr olds are on it.and honestly i hope they stay there.lol😅
They need to switch back to the og maps and ranked point system for I'm a masters player and Everytime I play ranked I get paired with silvers and golds

Too much skins for way to long fortnite been working out and now we see the gains apex has been in the koomer mindset for way too long just releasing skins and lost all his mass and is losing hype fast too.
They finally doing something now with new game modes and cross progression so they just have to keep it up to keep players engaged maybe a 6vs6 or something to create more variety idk something to bring more new players and make players return something big

Apex Legends is the only multiplayer game that i like to play. I honestly have not touch fortnite & COD for 4 years. Apex have his bugs and laggy connections rarley but i still have fun & play it on the daily.

Fortinite new map and mechanics and Ea make worst ltm mode i ever played in my life . This Rev ltm is unbelievable bad design ,4 games in row i play rev and run like idiot on map so naturally I didn’t play 5 game . Boring game only want to grab money on high selling skins.

Three strikes was a best LTM they've made in awhile.
if they made a tv show they would indeed be able to satisfy their target audience with the lgbt story line. which is something fresh made for them, no need to hijack every story that didn't call for those characters.
The reality of all this is that Fortnite is way levels ahead of Apex legends and other battle royales in fact Fortnite is not just a battle royale anymore it’s a whole metaverse platform, but hey Apex and compete with warzone for the second spot that’s open
I hate fortnights build aspect… so they created no builds.. n ranked for it.. new skins constantly…. low prices… I'm the biggest apex fan and I just don't know what to do 🙁 I Wana keep playing but it's hard
Fornite is so slow tho. The movement sucks so bad and having to walk is horrible.
Fortnite having their characters basically as blank canvases really helps when making collaborative content.
Unreal engine is so smooth which makes developing content easier so quick map changes aren’t as taxing.
The problem with Apex is that they offered a lot of content to the game along time ago but after season 8 with the war games LTMs, yeah multiple LTMs for just one event crazy right, they just completely fell off as far as content for the game. Before LTMs completely changed how you played the game, flashpoint made it so you could only heal in the flashpoint areas, dummy mode made it to where you where just given random abilities, but most of the current LTMs don’t change the game they just add a tiny change like date night you can heal your teammates with yourself that’s it, the new Halloween mode added the rev skull grenade that’s it, and the copycat mode added the legends ability box so you can use other legends abilities if you found one that’s it. Three strikes was def a return to form but I feel like it’s already too late. And no the holiday LTMs don’t count nor does the new kill code event cause they’re just reskinned versions of the annual events we get every year. Mix tape was a good addition but they’ve done nothing with it since, just like Areas, no new modes no new maps and yeah new maps and game modes are “coming” but they’ve been coming for over a year now people are bored, they’re tired of waiting and so they’ve left/ are leaving. And then there’s the lore, the last time we had decent lore in game was season 9, that was the last time you could unlock the comics through the treasure pack system, instead they moved them to Twitter and went back to dialogue blips till the Anniversary season and now there’s just no in game lore at all, all the lore is relegated to Twitter and YouTube now so if you only care about the lore then there’s really no point in playing the game , at the very least apex could make it to where you can complete challenges to unlock the comics and cinematic sun game first and then they can post them on their socials a week or two later so that there is a least some reason the play the game.
So let me get this straight… Apex provides nearly no content and what content they do provide is either really really bad or copied way after the point for multiple times the cost….? Yeah, that sounds about right. This company produces about a tenth of what they are capable of doing…. Just greed.
Please stop asking for an Apex show, that's a terrible idea that will only dilute resources further. They already don't know how to compete with their game title, don't let them think working on something else will actually help the game….
