  1. is for sure an amazing laptop, the tech is a 10 years ahead. I've been waiting to order mine in my local retailer as soon as they are available. I changed my 16inch intel mbp for for a mba m1 with 8gb of ram, and this really outperforms my old intel. BUT I think this computers are perfect for youtubbers or video people. I dont need a perfect screen, I an external monitor, I dont need that much battery life. I think the perfect mac for me is an mba…but if only I could play in it. And that is the thing, the gaming market is massive and the moment you moved out from intel and stop habing bootcamp so many nwo have to choose "do I want to play nice games or I want to productive". Last year I tried an Alienware M15 and install linux for work, it went fine until it didnt.

  2. I’ve never seen any HDR content on this phone but holyyyyyy on my 13 Pro Max my eyes are being blasted in the most amazing way possible. this might be the brightest thing I’ve ever viewed but now I want more now that I know the HDR display actual works.

  3. Nice overview of the MBP and I agree with your comments on performance! I watched Art is Right for a photographers viewpoint and he had great examples on performance! Mine should arrive this week and so excited to edit photos !!

  4. For me personally I just find Macbooks to have the ugliest look I could ever imagine! I rather love square black pieces of hardware. Every single point in design I like more on Thinkpads. Build-Quality, Keyboard, Trackpoint well over every trackpad, looks, feels, repairability, matte (touch-)screen, weight, compactness. I also don't like all-aluminum as a chassis-material. I love magnesium and carbon alot more, even reinforced plastics I choose over aluminum. Don't like how it feels and it's cold all the time. Also I can't get used to MacOS at all. ^^ And I like touchscreens as an additional input method plus I want my games to be on the same device. I don't care for some points being better with Macbooks while Thinkpads are still very good at them because I value the points above so much. So I rather wait for Alder-Lake mobile chips coming into Thinkpads. 🙂

  5. MicroLED is what allows for only part of the display to run HDR while the rest runs SDR. OLED would also allow for this, but I don't know whether it's utilized anywhere.

  6. Bro
Why always on your videos my iphone goes crazy
It keeps the video brightness on max and everything else on lowest when it is in portrait mode
    Always on your videos
    I dont get it
I dont know what causes this bug

  7. i'd be careful saying RAM is the no-brainer upgrade. It totally depends on how big the files you're working on. I'd go for the extra CPU/GPU cores over the base model 14" personally for my workflow.

  8. Nice… I'm so on the fence of completely switching over from years on PC. Seeing that Premiere timeline comparison to the PC i9 12th gen with 3090, I think sold me on the switch. Was debating a msi creator 17 3080 miniLED or these new 16" mbp m1 max's. It'd be great to see more real world Premiere tests if you don't mind. Thanks mate! Keep up the good work, eh!

  9. You YouTubers have a fixation on content creation, because that's what you do. But your audience is probably much more interested in office work and casual gaming or heavy gaming. So why would I buy an inferior laptop for double the price of e.g. a premium Legion 7?

  10. You will probably be accused of being an Apple Fanboy but I can testify that you are not at all. You have been hard on the intel 16" and 13. You have been hard on Apple, I remember. It is good to see technology leap forward. Can you imagine in 3 years?

  11. I keep coming back to this channel just coz your accent is awesome! Sounds like a good friend is talking to me and not a tech reviewer! I’m waiting my maxxed out M1 max with 2Tb ssd between 25 November and 2 December! Can’t wait to rewatch this video with it!

  12. Definitely one of the best reviews. This is a creative laptop for video, photo, and music professionals. Especially video… They have dedicated hardware in the chip. The GPU is no slouch but it’s roughly the equal of a desktop 3060. Which isn’t slow, but a 3070 or more will certainly be faster for things like 3D rendering. Aside from that, the laptop is as fast if not faster. Especially when editing video. And it’s a laptop. And it’s not loud and it’s not hot and it lasts a long time. So for creators, yes, this really is the perfect laptop.

I’m definitely interested to see what Alder Lake brings to the table. The performance is extremely good on those trips but the performance per WATT… Is not.

  13. This macbook pro 14 and 16 is the best productivity lap out there..
