This week I’m diving into watchOS 10 after using it for a couple of weeks on my Apple Watch Series 6! watchOS 10 was announced at WWDC23, and packs a bunch of new things like the Smart Stack, watch faces, new gestures, ton of UI changes, amongst a plethora of other stuff.
I’ll go over the ones while I think are most important, just note that I tested while still in beta, so these things could change with the full release!

I just wish these bloody American kids would stop trying to “update” everything constantly. Just leave it for one year!!!! Apple, Garmin….if you’re reading this the same applies!!!!
Have they taken away being able to download or install apps. I haven’t been able to after updating. Unless they just want you to only use their watch faces
Watch "upgraded" last night. Lost my dock with critical apps one click away. I'm not happy.

They took my favorite feature! I never had an issue with switching my watch faces, and I can only have one useful Smart Stack? It does look better, but I’m a function over fashion person. If I could I’d switch back to 9, 10 is not as good for me
good info thanks. Being Down Under, I sympathise with being OUTSIDE of USA – which is the only country Apple really cares about.
Not to mention the worst part? WatchOS can’t give weather and temperature in apps and complication now!

The battery life of my series 5 is so bad since updating to watch is 10. It’s hardly a day now and I always have my watch in theatre mode. I couldn’t find a solution yet and hope they will release an update soon. Seems like I’m not the only one struggling since os 10.

Since updating my watch, I have been having issues with my watch not vibrating when I receive notifications. The notifications will show up on my watch, just no real time notification of it coming in. Anyone else having this issue?
One question is the functionality of returning or switching to the previous app by double pressing the crown is still present?
Worst part is you can’t zoom in on the app view screen.

Hello, which Apple Watch model is that?
If you have a Series 7 watch, don’t update to OS 10 or 10.01. I lost a 1/3 of my battery life with these updates 🤬!
Can’t change the time format, it always stays at 24 Hour format.
Fantastic video! The snoopy watch face is the BOMB, I hope apple keeps making watches animations faces such as marvel watch faces so on and so on, 🎉🎉🎉
If using the wayfinder face, how do you change it to all red to avoid too much glare at night? I used to roll the crown counter clockwise but it doesn’t work anymore.
Can I close apps any more? I used to make sure to close all the apps I wasn’t using by pressing the side button and swiping them off screen. Has to effect the battery to have all the apps open like that
The thing I hated about my series 9 is the packaging. Literally twice as much packaging as my iPhone 14 Plus. Yeah, it’s still supposed to be carbon neutral, but they could’ve actually made it carbon negative.

Funny how nobody ever mentioned that swiping between faces was a bad thing, but now that it's been taken away, omg it was awful. One move to change? Press-Hold-Swipe-Tap is so much better!
YouTubers – Apple doesn't care what you say, you are not earning brownie points. Every poll I have seen the majority of people hate the change.
I had a new watch in my bag, but I've removed it because it will come with 10.

I liked being able to swipe between faces. Faster and easier, IMO. Not impressed with this release, honestly. But your video did teach me some good things. Thank you.
