3. Careful with the M2 to M3 comparisons. Certain M3 chips have actually taken a hit in memory bandwidth and other design elements compared to their comparable M2 brothers. Depending on the software being run, you may find it necessary paying more to gain certain M2 attributes back. In the Macbook Pro, depending on the build configurations, you had to spend $500 more to gain some of the M2's advantages back with the unbinned M3 architecture. I think Apple is starting to gimp their lower and mid tier M chip offerings in order to entice you to their upper tier and making you pay more for it.

4. My Mac Studio M2 Ultra has been a huge game changer for time savings and space savings in that I don't need to render in the background. M3 ultra will have to be a big upgrade to make me a buyer.

8. M3 is slightly more powerful than M2? Two grand dollarinos doesn't sound like a good deal, you can still do everything on a M2. I am guessing this machine is for those who are really invested in the Apple infra

9. Maybe, maybe, maybe. Not really any info here. As you guys know, never buy the latest and greatest or you will pay a premium. I do want to keep track though bc when the new ones drop, prices on older models will come down. Perhaps, in a few years, I will get a Mac Studio tho I would prefer a 5k iMac loaded with Apple Silicon. That said, I am pretty set right now. Good luck to all of you!

18. I would like a mac studio that would feature the 8 core CPU, 10 core GPU and 16 core nural engen. Ram 8GB, 16GB and 24GB. Storage 256GB, 512GB, 768GB, 1TB, 1.25TB, 1.5TB, 1.75TB and 2TB. Or you can get a 16 core CPU, 20 core GPU and 32 core nural engen. Ram would be 16GB, 32GB and 48GB. Storage would be 512, 1TB, 1.5TB, 2TB 2.5TB, 3TB, 3.5TB and 4TB. This would be a budget Mac Studio. I would chose the 16 core CPU with 20 core GPU and 32 core nural engen with 48GB of ram and 4TB of storage. That would be my goto mac studio.

19. I hope there's only one color option available. When Apple releases multiple colors getting the computer you want in the configuration you want takes longer.

21. If I had a choice, I'd love to get a 13inch MBA M2 in silver. My old laptop was a 2013 15inch Macbook Pro and it recently got broken. I think the new MBA is the best in terms of price, performance, and portability. By the way, love this new video on the mac studio ultra! Keep the news coming!

26. Apple really stuck it to those M1 early adopters saying memory was not an issue with new chip design, yet now with M2s and M3 they are pushing memory and at a hefty cost. Best workstation still for 2024 is i7 2018 with 64GB and eGPU, for a fraction of the cost.

34. The M3 Max is a very powerful chip, considering an i9 13980HX / 4090 will draw around 1000w of power, this should offer comparable performance for maybe 140w. Incredible efficiency. I would like to see an Extreme version where there are 2x Ultras fused together.
