  7. Go into control panel and locate devices, find the identified WIFI Network Adapter and delete it. Reboot Windows 7 and let it auto detect the adapter. When done, try reinstalling Parallels Tools That should fix it.

  8. It certainly can – there are no restrictions or registrations of the guest OS in each VM that are required with Parallels. So Parallels Desktop has no idea if the software is legal or pirated.

  9. Hi there! Just go out and pick up a regular copy of Windows 7 or buy a digital copy that runs on a PC. After that just fired up the Parallels Install Wizard (CMD-N) from within Parallels and follow the prompts. Good Luck!

  10. You should not have any issues installing Win 7 from another source in PD8. What you will do is create a new VM, the wizard will come up and then you will either select the DVD or an .ISO image and it will install from there without issue. Make sure you have your product key since windows will require activation. Let me know if you need more info.

  11. On all of the more recent computers out there they all either have 2 cores or 4 cores per chip, meaning 1 Intel chip actually has multiple CPU's inside. By increasing # of CPU, you are telling Parallels to give more processor(CPU) resources to the Windows environment.

  12. Hey Man – Thx for the comment on the video! Ok. If you buy Windows 7 thorugh Parallels YES you can use it again just make sure to save the .ISO image file that gets downloaded. If you install it on the VM, then there is NO partition, just look for the file in /Documents/Parallels and that will be your drive image of Windows 7. Make sense?

  13. hey, great video, congrats
i still have two questions, if I buy windows 7 through parallels will i be able to use it again, or is it one time only? AND is there any partition on the hard drive or ssd like in boot camp?

  14. A few things to look into.. First off is the mouse the built in mouse or a USB/Bluetooth mouse connect to MBP? If so make sure you go into sys pref and make sure secondary mouse click is turned on. On Parallels – if an external mouse make sure the device is recognized in the USB device manager and connected to Windows. Next check system info in Windows itself and see it thinks you have a mouse. My guess the issue lies of one of those three areas. Good Luck
