3. I just picked up the 500 gig SanDisk extreme SSD and used it with my brand new iPad Pro 11 and I am truly impressed with both the iPad Pro and the SanDisk SSD. I just upgraded from the iPad Pro 10.5 which you could only use certain SSD drives With it. And now after I formatted it EXFAT I can now use my SSD with my iPad Pro 11 and my windows 10 PC. I am a photographer and I transfer lots of raw camera files. In the iPad 11 makes it so much easier and quicker to upload on to my SSD. I went by this review and picked up the SanDisk because it was more available for me. And really happy now that I can back up my files after a wedding on both my iPad and my SSD. You can never be too safe when backing up wedding photos.

   reads and writes just as fast.

11. I have the g-drive but my iPad Pro don’t recognize it. I plug it but can not see it in folders. Any help ? Can it be because I use it with my windows pc ? Thanks

12. You have been such a great source and I really appreciate you. I’m not having any luck with the new 13.1 update connecting the Apple power camera adapter with power, reading my CF cards. I think my solution will be the newer iPad pros.

15. I had already bought the T5 and using it today with my 2018 12.9, Uni USBc hub and SD card I was happy enough. I had considered the Sandisk, can’t remember why I chose the T5 but didn’t know the G drive so next drive I will have to look for it. Always worthwhile reviews. I’m still happy with the ProCase I bought after a review here—handles everything for my Ipad and Mini for travel with externals, hub, cables, etc.

17. Thank you for the video. Will the G-Drive work with Windows PC and iPad Pro simultaneously. Meaning, if I copy a movie/video from my Windows PC , can i connect back to my iPad to watch it ?
