#apple #applenews #ios17
Old is new
Seems accurate since half of this features already existed for soo long
Like how did apple users functioned without offline maps?
Believe it or not Benjamin isn’t available 😂
To much talking!,,
She scares me. why her eyes so WIDE OPEN??
Why does he only ever call after midnight, as if he knows that they will record his every word on voicemail?
My Google Pixel has the live voicemail feature (it is called Call Screening). It is great for unknown numbers.
0:47 "When was the last time you even left a voicemail for someone?"
A couple weeks ago actually. Some of us are not rude enough to call someone and not let them know why we were trying to call if they don't pick up.
why is cnet so head bro
I leave voicemails pretty regularly mainly because I’m not a big texting person. The only time I text is what I’m contacting someone who mostly or only texts.😊
I never owned an apple devices. However after seeing this video, voicemail looks very impressive
Bridget manages to effortlessly engage the viewer with her fabulous humour & superb presentation. I really wish she would do all the CNet videos.
I don’t use any of those features. I just hope I can use my phone normally. It is becoming difficult though.
Enjoy the reviews!!
In 2002, I got my first cell phone from Sprint. It was made by Sanyo, and it had a feature that will transfer the missed calls into an internal answering device that allowed me to hear the callers while leaving their messages into my phone and I was able to interrupt them, just like a landline answering machine.
Great hair color, Bridget.
Leaving a FaceTime video looks to be the new voicemail replacement.
Yeah most of iOS 17 updates seems like meh. I hope auto correct works better. The current version isn’t very good. Even though it’s bad, typing on Apple devices is so much better than Samsung. Every time I have to fix a family member’s Samsung Galaxy S23 it feels so clunky and slow, and the typing is too sensitive, not sure how Samsung users put up with accidentally typing stuff in. The setting menu is so convoluted, it’s hard to find where I need to go. I have to always Google the steps and it be buried deep somewhere. Apple simplicity can’t be replicated. Even though Samsung has beaten Apple in Phone hardware, the software still is inferior for usability.
Why Suddenly CNET Become AppleNET 🤔
The more it changes the more it remains the same…nothing has changed in last 10 years
Speaking of going back to the 90's, all these AI chatbots—ChatGPT, Bing's, Google's, Siri—should aspire to to be like Holly, the ships main computer, from Red Dwarf. Or even Kryton, limitations and all, love him. It's impossible to love something that is perfect, that doesn't have quirks or imperfections of some kind: people are intimidated and fearful of 'perfect'. You can't beat 90's answer machines – it was so much better being able to leave anonymous heavy breathing phone messages, without your name and number appearing on screen!
I think Bridget is a cutiepatuti and I'm kicking myself for not putting a ring on it 🤳 💍
Even though Google might have done something similar first regarding voicemail. But Apple seems to know how to do things right. Which is always a game changer. I’ve never been more excited (or excited at all) for software updates. Woohoo!!! The iMessage and contact cards are going to be awesome as well!
I'm here for you grace lol not iso 17 😆 but…. I don't know. Allow use to side load? Please ..
Great voice mail…. Lol most voice mails are telemarketing and scams.. I don't know maybe yo
Isn't this on pixel all ready 🤔 is apple copying something else from Android and make it look like they came up first
this woman Bridget, her eyes emote like a disney princess
Is Bridget the best? Yes she is
I see a lot of people turning it off due to privacy 😂
This is the kind of reviews I like. Not glorifying every stupid old feature for no reason. Honest opinion even if it's critical. Finally. Thanks!
Regarding voicemail:
Either Android or Samsung phones has that option for years.
You have to enable it.
I updated to ios17 .. and literally the only change really is the screen on iMessage when you go to send an attachment ……
90% of the new iOS feature I probably won’t use. Can we have a slim version of the IOS, so I can enjoy my old iPhone again?
Is Bridget from Brooklyn? Her words are so sarcastic
I didn’t even set up my voicemail
Android innovation makes Apple look ridiculous when it comes to their phones and what you can do with them and how easily you can do all of this. Apple customers are so trained to just appreciate any little thing Apple does. It’s almost scary. It’ll be interesting to see if any or all of these updates work properly like they should or if it will be a buggy mess for six months.
I think live voicemail could be used between couples when dating. Purposely leaving voice mail just to see how the other would response
bumping is still kinda stupid
M'am, you are seriously funny! First time I see you here. I loved the review.
Now someone can cuss you off literary with text.
This video must be a prank because she can't be serious in 2023
isn't the visual voicemail only for faceime? I never seen spam on facetime!
excited to see you
voice and reaction five ⭐
I love Bridget's reviews so I always tune in when she puts a video out. I've been a CNET follower for years and miss some of the older content like Prize-Fight and Brian C exclusive car reviews "and Ugly is included at no extra cost."
Ok, now the good stuff. Live Voicemail! If you are an Android user you know this is not new because it has been on Android for several years and so is the autocorrect feature. Apple is finally bringing its users into the 21st century. I don't know this and am not going to look it up so let me ask. Can Apple devices charge each other as some Android can?
OMG VM is so annoying no one gets to the point they’re just rambling like your mom stop complaining & make your point!
