Apple has announced iOS 17, its next major update for the iPhone. The reveal came Monday during Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference. The new iPhone software builds upon the last several versions of iOS, which is important since it won’t likely disrupt the status quo on your iPhone. iOS 17 brings updates to FaceTime, Messages and the phone app that make them more intuitive and easier to customize.

check in, the one that dictates the voice text will be very handy, worried about air drop, I don't want someone to be able to come up to me and take my contacts? Or do I have to give permission for this feature? Thier are some features I didn't even know I have now WOW
All this is fine and dandy but they still don’t have a native calculator app for the iPad.
Transcript message seems great, many times I can’t listen to voicenotes as I’m at work etc so it would be nice to read it

iOS 17 is the lamest update. The big new update is a landscape clock and stickers. Lame 😒 we need a new UI the current UI is tired and old!
NameDrop is cool. But my number 1 feature is Contact Posters.
Of all the new features, I think the Standby feature is the most interesting.
Apple map right now is incredible. I’m running iOS 17 and it’s amazing. The keyboard is way better. The auto correct is so much better. Texting is better. The Siri command is awesome works better at detecting my voice and executing commands. Overall I’m happy with iOS 17. It’s actually really stable. No crash yet and all my bank apps work. The down side to running early is my stickers don’t work with anyone not running 17 lol I can wait. Journal isn’t out yet. The fitness app is waaaaay better too. Live voice mail works but the phone has to be unlocked. Don’t know if I can change that settings. And check in doesn’t work now either. It’s a dev beta so for what it is worth it.
if i cant record video and keep my music playing then ITS ALL USELESS.
Check in, live voicemail, and standby all seem genuinely useful. Sincerely, a diehard android guy

First time I feel like it's a let down on an iOS update
I just switched to iPhone after not having one since iPhone 4s.
1. How come we still don’t have T9 dialing in contacts and call log is so short?
2. I was hoping that we will finally be able to swipe from sides of the phone to go back. How come they invented the gestures and yet the back button is in different position in different app.
3. There were rumors of sideloading apps but I don’t keep my hopes up with this.
4. Number row on top of the keyboard maybe finally?
Sad that they dropped support for iPhone X
