After a Spring Festival, DXOMARK finally announced the camera score of the one-inch outsole flagship vivo X90 Pro+.
It scored a total of 140 points, ranking tenth in the DXOMARK camera global list, tied with Google Pixel 7, and slightly higher than Mi 12S Ultra.
DXOMARK said that the overall photography performance of the vivo X90 Pro+ is very good, which is a significant upgrade compared to the vivo X80 Pro.
This is DXOMARK’s first smartphone to feature a Qualcomm 8 Gen 2 Snapdragon chip, and it’s also the first smartphone to use a one-inch sensor for the main camera.
DXOMARK said that the vivo X90 Pro+ has a powerful camera module, and the photo details are quite good under various zoom settings, achieving the second highest score so far in zoom; in most cases, it shows good exposure management and more precise white balance.
The overall performance of the vivo X90 Pro+ in photo and video modes is excellent, and the dynamic range is quite wide.
However, DXOMARK believes that the fly in the ointment is that compared with many ultra-high-end competitors, the testers observed that the X90 Pro+ does not have zero shutter lag, which leads to the slow response of the autofocus function in the photo and video modes in the[default camera mode]and at the same time Inaccurate representation of dark skin tones and blending artifacts in high-contrast scenes.
It should be noted that major bloggers and netizens do not agree with this score.
Judging from the current actual word-of-mouth, whether it is the vivo X90 Pro+ or Xiaomi 12S Ultra, they have achieved very good performances. Both are IMX989 one-inch main cameras, and they are also currently recognized as the two strongest camera phones.
In addition, the two sides also have the blessing of imaging technology from Leica and Zeiss, and cooperate with the excellent algorithm adjustment of the two manufacturers to bring a very powerful mobile phone camera experience, which is quite different from the evaluation given by DXOMARK.
