Another thing I noticed about the fingerprint scanner on Pixel 6 pro is that if you are outside and it's sunny sometimes it has a hard time getting a read. Usually I try to put my back to the sun to partially block it and hold the phone right up against my body to help block the light.
I heard you mention that you had a galaxy watch… I have a Galaxy watch and the Google 6 pro. However I'm not able to get my Pandora to go over to my Galaxy watch. Do you have any insight on that?

Come from the iPhone pro max. I’d give it a 4 1/2 if it weren’t for the fingerprint sensor, which at times is useless. Please dear god google give it face unlock soon

You lost my interest when you said it can go toe to toe with the A15. Apple’s SoC is so much faster and ridiculously efficient that the Tensor is nowhere near it.
I'm not able to enable the assistant voice typing feature, that option is greyed out. Is there a fix for this?

You can also slide down with two fingers to automatically get to the second slide down menu.

The pixels are using the new goodix sensor. This is the newest and very best fingerprint scanner sensor available . It's slower because where Chinese phones and others scan the finger once or maybe twice , Google is scanning it ten times to make the scanner much more accurate and a far less chance for a missed scan . It has the best sensor in the business but it's much more thorough. Let's see how many times less it scans to appease the complainers .

Setting the "animator duration scale" to less than 1x breaks the fingerprint scanner being present on the always on display. Leave it at 1x.

Voice typing on the 6 and 6 Pro are game changing.
Another thing is setting the phone to do something when you double tap the back. I think it's in gestures but I set mine to take a screenshot when I double tap the back of the phone. Works great!
All review are like the finger print scanner is slow" and then you see it takes like half a second to unlock lol
I don't have option to change my icons. Supposedly a lot of people are missing that option too

What case are you using?
I have had a great experience with the 6 pro. I've had it for over a week now and I don't have any major complaints. The ghost calls are pretty funny but I think that's just an Android 12 issue. The fingerprint scanner can be fixed with a software update and I only know this from beta testing custom roms on my OnePlus 7T. I think Google did a great job this year and the tensor is pretty beefy. This is a great step in the right direction and I'm glad I was able to get one.
