How To FIX Google Pixel 6 Connectivity & Signal Loss Issues

#Pixel6 #Fix #Connectivity

So Google released the much awaited December update with more than 100 fixes and I have tested some of the newest fixes in and out.

Some users now report signal loss and connectivity issues with the December Update, specifically users from Europe and in none supported countries where Pixel 6 is not offered officially, but not only – also official countries users are complaining.

The is a reddit thread where vachezoub suggested a very easy fix for connectivity issues and signal loss and it seems it`s working already for several users!

So let`s check this FIX and let`s apply it in this video!

  1. Many people have had that issue including me and Google is aware of it and is in the process of an RMA for me. They have been saying since 2021 the next update will fix it when I got the phone and started looking into it. Many people have went through 2-5 RMA's with no fix though but hopefully mines fixed. It's a problem with the modem and how they made the phone or something. The Exynos 5123 modem. I spent over 150 hours troubleshooting it including everything possible including downgrading to several android 12 version and trying different android 13 versions along with android 14 beta. Had 6 different carriers all have the same issue eSIM and physical sim factory reset the phone dozens of times and still nothing. A $50 UMX phone with the same sim card I never have these issues its entirely something wrong with something with the pixel 3 ATT MVNO's and 3 T-Mobile all had the issue. No signal at all for 10+ minutes several times a day even in populated areas close to towers and awful signal never below 85DBM and mostly above 110. My $50 UMX has better signal. Even google several reps have admitted its a known issue and they don't know which Pixel 6 won't have that issue and I just need to get it replaced and hopefully it doesn't have those issues. I bought it from another site refurbished and Google themselves instead of that site allowed me to return the phone to them instead of the site I actually bought it from and provided me an overnight shipping label and even offered me a Google play store credit at the beginning too. Many people will have a Pixel 6 and know others with it and never experience these issues and think its just a few phones but there are hundreds and hundreds of online posts about these issues including all over their forums and many started getting deleted too. I have tried every possible thing you can try and mine still has issues that no other phone has ever had for me.

  2. 7:15 You say for the first time you have a full bar, yet it fluctuates wildly in the preceding seconds after installing the "fix" and continues to do so for the remainder. The truth is there is no fix for the subpar modem.

  3. Wow. I'm in Canada and been dealing with connectivity issues non stop multiple times a day. If I was receiving multiple messages from people via sms the phone would jam and disconnect. I followed your video and wow just wow. Seems like all solved. My phone never worked on the subway and I'm writing this comment from the subway! Thank you for posting this information!

  4. What's Amazon me is that Google release a flagship phone like the 6, 6a, with so many problems! I mean a phone with connectivity issues, come on! Where i had 5 g with my Pixel 3 i now have 2 g with the 6!!!

  5. I was having issues with my brand new pixel 6 where if I used a physical sim and esim it works until I try to send a text, then both sims lose service. I was just turning off my esim until I found this video, it fixed my issue (so far, keeping my fingers crossed).

  6. I live in the Dominican Republic and had this problem with Altice but after watching this video and following the instructions it is history. Thank you very much!

  7. When I used only physical SIM I had no issues with call drops. But when I started to use it with eSIM (same carrier as my physical SIM) its almost impossible to make a call without a drop on both sim cards. Any experience with that? Beta didn't help to fix this issue.

  8. since the very beginning i have been wanting to throw my pixel 6 pro out of the window and turn the car back and drive over it. when i first saw the video i was sure that it was BS. i did however try it and it actually works. Im impressed. Thank you for the video. !! now you gotta find a fix for the constant bluetooth disconnection!!!

  9. got the update but still hasn't fixed the constant disconnects from Android Auto – swapped different cables so that's not it… and yet it charges so guessing is software related or my usb-c port is junk?

  10. I'm in Ireland on Vodafone and this is my replacement pixel 6 pro and still not working.
My biggest problem is not the speed but the phone loses data connection every time after receiving/making a phone call and sometimes randomly with no reason!
This has been the case even before the December update but now it is even worse
