The launch of Huawei’s Mate 60 Pro has brought attention to China’s chip innovation. The device, built with SMIC’s 7nm chips, might be considered as a substantial effort to get beyond technology prohibitions imposed by the United States. The SoC apparently includes a CPU and GPU with internally created microarchitectures. Actually most people are not talking about it but Kirin 9000s which is made by SMIC at 7nm is more powerful and advanced (and have stacking. Like AMD 3D stacking) than Kirin 9000 which was made by TSMC at 5nm.

China has not banned China public from buying apple iphone. They don't need to. All it takes is a China Govt campaign to declare that China citizens loyal to their country do NOT buy and use USA apple iphones. If any China citizen is seen using and owning iphone, he should be immediately criticised in public by other citizens nearby. His boss will be asked to explain why he did not sack the disloyal employee. US wants to play hard ball with Huawei. OK, bring it on.

With the US planning additional sanctions on China's chip developments, what will happen to the US wanting China to buy more treasury notes and to relax the rare earth metals export ban?
After the slap of Huawei Mate 60 Pro, I discover a new slap this morning with the Huawei Mate X5 which can surf at more than 1Gb per second. The store is emptied in 10 seconds as soon as the Mate X5 foldable goes on sale. 🤕
And this crap yanke channel claims China are decades behind , wait till they bring out the first worlds mass produced photonic chip some time this year which has no analogues then we will see who is decades behind !!!

China's current status in terms of semi-conductor is still behind US several years. And the Meta60 is basically a 4.5G Phone. Trying to manufacture the chips in face with group-bullying from the west world really mean something. I guess all those could relate the same feeling who suffered the similar bully.

The conclusion that Huawei's 9000S CPU is 7nm is flaw. Many well known testing organizations (Geekbench, An TuTu…) show that the CPU speed of the 9000S well exceeds Qualcomm's Snapdragon 888, which is a 5nm chip and Huawei's 9000 (5nm). How can we explain that Huawei's 9000S is a 7nm chip but Snapdragon 888 is 5nm? Based on the tests performed by different well known organizations, the 9000S has to be a 5nm chip. I'm just giving credits where credits belong. Please verify my conclusion.
Here's hoping Huawei tanks the US tech sector, after several years of criminal intentions, US deserves an overdose of humble pie.
