  1. What I came away from this video with is that I can basically slap a 5800X3D into my AM4 build (currently 5600x) and continue to happily game for quite some time. What an amazing CPU that thing is. Wow. AM4 continuing to slay.

EDIT: I primarily play at 4K (with upscaling) anyway, depending on the game. So the performance gains from the newer gen there is even more minimal.

  2. currently debating going intel but remembered most my jank builds are amd lol so thought id look really deep into am5 but i only recntly went am4 about 2 years ago and i like to hold my rigs for at least 4 years before decomishing them to the basement where i run them into the ground rendering or just testing the limits for my amusement xd. sigh i think ill go 3 more years and see where tech sits at i think thats the play for me sadly just seems am5 hype is lit on the short trails of the 5800x3d.

  3. I'd Go for 7700, eeally good perfomance, lower cost so i can save a few dollars more that can help me Buy bigger ram …. Keeping future proof platform compatibility for the next change to do, gotting a well amount of ram already and the Mobo letting me just to concéntrate on cpu or gpu upgradw

  4. Another similar Linus worst review!! Amd fun boy!! 449 dollars for 8 core cpu;; no thank you!! This cpu 7800x3d is for 1080 gaming!! 4K we see no difference!! But performance no gaming 7800x3d is garbage 🗑️

  5. Can we please stop testing old games that run a 300+ fps on modern hardware? Maybe include demanding VR titles or something worth the hassle please?

  6. If you are on a bit of a budget though, I honestly wouldn't blame anyone going for the 13700kf and staying on DDR4, if you are on AM4 or 11th gen intel or older. That comes out a fair bit cheaper and negates the advantages of the 7800X3D, especially if gaming at 1440p or 4K.

  7. amd is better in any way for most things, except FPS games 🙁
i play pubg and fortnite i got 2 pcs 13700k and 5800x3d all finely tuned and overclocked, 13700k 0.1% fps is 100 – 250 where with 5800x3d it drops to 10 – 20 in every action.

  8. Too much focus on gaming… Why dont you do a pc build for music production. Kinda a PC capable of running a lot of Virtual instruments, samples, tracks with heavily loaded plugins… Do it for a change… Gaming gaming gaming everywhere… Understand the market is big but do one video for music production for a change.
