  1. The fact that I have an MSI X570 Gaming Edge (I know, VRM isn't the best I found), Nvidia 3080 Ti, R9 3900X and the frames are in the toilet in cities while higher, well made products, I easily get over 100 FPS no issue on 1080p. I mean, christ, I get 90 to 100 FPS with Cyberpunk when it came out and still get that now. Bethesda just can't develop a game worth a crap.

  2. I though I could get away with using my 2700x till my next AM5 upgrade but Nope this game comes out!
Just brought the 5800x3d, may the temps have mercy on me.
Thanks for this Amazing and comprehensive benchmark!

  3. How TF didn't I see this video 10 hours ago?!
I've been breaking my head for 2 weeks on an upgrage for Starfield for my i5-10400, GTX1650 and I just ordered 7800XT thinking it would make the job. SHIT.

  4. Poorly optimised game from Bethesda? Colour me completely unsurprised. They've been polishing that turd of an engine for decades. It was trash for Fallout 3 and it's trash now.

Game journalists need to start calling them out instead of licking their boots every time they re-release Skyrim.

  5. Will using HUB settings on a 7900xt push the load to the CPU? Will the CPU bottleneck areas still load up the CPU even at 3440x1440p? Because I just have a 5900x. Basically, do HUB settings put the load back onto my CPU at 3440×1440 or will there just always be major CPU gains to be had in cities and forests no matter what?

  6. 1060 6gb, i5 7600k, 16GB ram DDR4, game on SSD. It's "not bad" because it's going between 25-40+ fps without having stuttering on medium settings, but the freezing problem is hell, sometimes it just freeze one time per few minutes so it's "okay", but when it starts freezing 2-3 times per minute… especially when i zoom with scopes in fights since i wanted to play stealth sniper build. I can take those fps to play the game with that style, but ffs those freezes making me having migraine and rolling eyes every time because when the game freeze, it's freezed for like 3sec. Hope some bigger patch will fix it because it's most annoying shit ever.

  7. It's fun to watch everyone benchmarking a Bethesda game using the Creation Engine and worrying that the problem is that the latest and greatest hardware can't keep up with new game launches 😂

  8. 9900K @ 5.1ghz and a 2080super gets me about 40 fps in the area just after creating your character. It’s really bad 🙁
    That’s on 1440P. On 1080P it’s 50fps but averages towards 40 again.

At this point I just booted the Xbox version, since the quality is better at kinda the same performance

  9. Yeah i think this is a gpu title I wouldnt worry too much about the cpu benchmarks if I were you gents. . a few patches later and i think the game will be allright

  10. I couldn't belive how bad my performance was with a 3950x and 7900xtx, thought i must have had a driver issue or something but nope… just a shitty bethesda game.

  11. It's so demanding game, yet it looks much worse than Cyberpunk 2077, The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt next gen, or even Red Dead Redemption 2 from 2018. It doesn't have any logic and sense. I didn't saw so poorly optimized AAA game for quite some time.

  12. R5 7500F/7600/7600X = 73/80/82. Something is not OK. Difference in spec btw 7500f and 7600 is much smaller than 7600 and 7600x, but diff. In fps is off by a lot. If its tdp than 7600x would crush bot by a lot. If its core clock again diff is grater for 7600 vs 7600x compared to 7600 vs 7500f. This benchmark has so big deviation that it is QUESTIONABLE for its results.

  13. This game is so CPU limited its a bit embarrassing for BGS. Was there really no way to expand work to other cores? What's the CPU doing? The game looks good but it's not doing a single thing another game hasn't done for years.
Also this game is PERFECT for frame generation yet it didn't ship with either FSR3 or DLSS3.

  14. Pity we are all gonna sit and pretend this game isn't unoptimized plebian trash. We are just going to keep up this charade for a few more months until some 15 year old from Turkey fixes the game with a 3kb patch on nexus mods.

  15. I think it's funny as supposedly it's not possible, but I'm gaming Starfield on a 5600X and an RX590 Med, at 1440. Is there a way that you guys might try this and see just how capable this GPU is?

  16. So what I took from this is that I can wait yet one more year before building a completely new system to replace my old great OC'd 7700k. Unreal the value I've gotten out of it for so long.

  17. I normally play iracing but Starfield has cost me a lot of pennies! I was happy with a 10700k, 32gb@3600, 2080Ti for Sim racing, but like many, I've waited a long time for Starfield, and I didn't want to run it @ 50fps with these specs 😢
