I was getting a youtube popup telling me that AD blocker were not aloud on youtube, Screw youtube, I do not want Or need ADs about products I do not need or will ever buy showing while I am trying to get information from a content provider on youtube. As a user I should be the one deciding whether i want to see ADs or not just like I keep telling the postman not to put junk mail in my mailbox but they keep doing it so I keep returning it to them.

8. The You Tube advertising I've seen ran as much as one every 2 minutes in a 10 minute video. Totally unacceptable. For those that have to pay by the bite, You tube's heavy advertising load can significantly increase the costs for even looking at their "Free" service.. <sigh> They are TRYING to force everyone to buy the youtube expensive option, which will only increase in price as they get greedier and greedier…

9. Just backing up what Paul said, I was running Adblock on Firefox but YouTube detects it and blocks video playback, I had never used Ublock but, so far, it works blocks YouTubes BS.

11. Props on the ad decisions. Personally I have a YouTube premium subscription (because I watch a lot of YouTube and use YouTube music) but for those that don't pay for it, it is appreciated.

13. I wonder why did you have a finger on Premiere? lol I had such an awful experience with Adobe recently. More with Adobe Stock actually. My Adobe Stock account which i was tirelessly working on for almost a year has been blocked for no with no explanation or any prior warning (even if there was a reason) with unclaimed balance of my earnings. Nobody is responding to a single of my emails and appeals i sent them. Anyway, after using their products for over a decade, this is the last time i purchase anything related to Adobe. Terrible and i mean terrible practice from Adobe Stock side.

14. Actually they are now blocking your computer from accessing YouTube after 3 'ad-blocked' videos. This is such bullcrap.

15. My Pixel's battery blew up….Twice, when Android 13 came out….I will NEVER buy another pixel phone, since they can't make an O/S for their own damn phones that doesn't overheat them.

16. This is why people are walking away from youtube as Google are total morons as this will cost creators dearly.
    I use an ad blocker & the only ones allowed passed it is those creator I support as there are only nine creators now since the rest have moved over to Rumble.
    Now I get a message that my player will be blocked if I don't lets ads play. I do this for the nine I support, but it might be time to move on from youtube an let it die as Google can kiss my ass.

19. YouTube is trying to kill their platform by making the user experience so awful (with ads that are as bad as cable TV now and continue to get worse) that people seek alternatives. If people stay on the platform, they will see it as a sign that they can increase the ad bombardment.

21. YouTube are already 'blocking' ad-blockers, including that built into 'Enhancer for YouTube' – you cannot even play videos without disabling that aspect of the extension. I haven't tried uBlock Origin but It's almost unthinkable that YouTube would not also 'disallow' that extension.

23. Cheeeers and thanksssss!!!! This is super needed for me to better understand how things are going and honestly i still have loved the content. Im now rewatching you oast 3 years of build content and doing the best i can to help. Buuuuuuut yea~ now i just have to decide if i should make proper new build in am5 and see how the next gen come sout, or take my 5800x3d and 7900xt to the pcie 4.0 b550 mobo combo and grab stuff from microcenter thats close to me and just enjoy a BEST of the past generation with 4k possible gpu and then i can literally wait for all changes and improvments and next gens untill well past 2025 and upgrade then with a full new build? Probably~ took me 5+ years to build new now and i can rehab my 1080gtx old build with a 5600x and buos and make it a 10year build daily driver and browser system while i get to enjoy overclocking and enthusiest messing with my new ultra gaming system on a budget for the next few years to learn how i properly want to do things let goooooo

24. Switching browsers isnt going to be much help when it comes to ads….I use Opera browser and I am already getting notifications that ad blocking violates their user agreement. WTF !!
    Fuck YouTube – I'm Gen X so I can live without when the the time comes

25. Appreciate all the info. I hate ads and will definitely deter me from watching a lot of channels if they opt for mid-rolls and/or non-skippable ads, but I'm definitely sticking with channels that I enjoy that opt for video start/end ads and skippable ads. Glad you're one of them.

28. All wireless electronics that don't have an easy replaceable battery is considered disposable, aka a commodity in corpo lingo.

29. Even when watching YT with ad blockers, YT says I have to disable it. This has happened to me when watching on PC, not on mobile.

35. Don't worry too much about the add thing…. there is always patron and such to download for a monthy price.

36. Threadripper pro is mad expensive if you compare it to those 16 cores at 800 ish, 64 core should be 3200 or so, instead it's double that ..I understand you get extra features but does it really justify 50% price bump 😑

40. Well unfortunately Firefox started putting up a add that stops your queue of videos to tell you either allow adds or get premium YouTube if you are running AdBlock but you can just hit X and close the window and resume play 😡
