  1. Meta Quest 3 does the samething except at a lower resolution infact apple got the whe idea off of Meta and their Quest line of products which cost $499 or less

  2. At the rate things miniaturize the AR tech will, over a decade, shrink down to a processor the size of your cell phone connected by Bluetooth to a chonky pair of sexy-looking glasses. By then, everyone will want one, and possibly need one to be competitive in the work place. The visor will probably become Ray-Ban-ish. Because it's Apple, and because it's something new there will be plenty of early adopters giving it a try next year. I remember 20 years ago when the iPhone first came out it received a lot of hate. "There's no chance that the iPhone is going to get any significant market share." (Balmer, Microsoft CEO). The $500 price tag (which was a lot 20 years ago), crappy AT&T network, and many glitches all lifted up as reasons it would fail. I was one of them, happy with my clamshell cell phone and PC that tethered me to a desk. Who's laughing now?

For my part I'd rather 'see' my actual world and have the device overlay information or images to help me live better. Maybe that wouldn't require a face-hugger? For example, I have always sucked at remembering names. An app that puts name tags on everyone I know would be awesome, especially in that horrid 'greeting session' they have at church, or at business meetings. That alone would be worth a grand. Letting my wife play dress up with a realistic image of me while I do something fun vs. actually have to go shopping would be worth another grand, maybe more. I think you see where I'm going. The price tag will become irrelevant if the benefits are worthwhile.

  3. After spending 1200 on an iPad I figured it would last a long time since it’s supposed to be quality! Boy was I fooled, it’s just been a year and the warranty has expired and my iPad broke down and now I’m out 1200 dollars. So much for quality! I will never ever buy anything from apple ever again ! All I did was allow bill gates to get richer while I was duped into believing his spiel!
Never ever apple ever again. I hope god makes all bill gates I’ll gotten gains turn to ashes in his mouth ! Amen!

  4. People act like you need to be super rich to get a vision pro. 3500 is the price of 2 galaxy folds. Yes, it’s expensive but nothing you have to be super rich for. First computers were much more expensive (especially considering inflation and salaries back then) and sold anyway. This is not only a whole work station in one device, it also gives you 80% of a holiday experience every time you want it for free. It’s like a travel flat rate for a 3500 one time payment. Including My Everest and the titanic as possible destinations, with 0 travel time and risk of life. 3500 for a device like that is a steal!

  5. I agree with Musk but Apple is a powerful brand that has a lot of pull and people in their brains get a lot of dopamine by associating with a brand like that. The challenge with this category I see is – it is not meant to be worn outside – people buy Apple Watches cause other people see them wear it and that makes them cool, a status. But nobody will know if you use this product at home – of course you can tweet about it but nobody will care about that after the initial hype.

  6. This is how they helped program blanca in street fighter and bucky in capt america. Idiots will always enslave themselves and make even more vulnerable by submitting to experiment and funding it all the while their children and peers take their involvement as either stupid or innovative. End result equals customers broke from original purchase then targeted commercialized propaganda tapping your dopamine factory like your older sibling pinning you down and tapping your chest over and over with their stiff pointed finger. If you know you know if you dont then prepare to become enigma'd by the riddler.

  7. Argumented reality is a cyber punk dystopia, you might as well take drugs to argument your reality. Fix up your reality instead of escaping it!

  8. Give me a break! Nothing cool about this product. 99% of the people in the world would hate walking around with oversize goggles on their heads. That's a fact, that's why VR hasn't really taken off despite a ton of companies making them long before this product ever hit the market.
