  1. When importing audio from Files, it seems you can’t add multiple audio files without them going to separate tracks. Desktop version gives you the optional to place them all sequentially on the same track.
This caused me a major headache this week.
Oh, and there’s not even a normalization option in the region editor!
imo Logic for iPad is terrible for even the most basic of audio editing tasks. I barely even want to call it a DAW.
It’s more like a sequencer with a ton of instruments and fx.

  2. It seems Apple has decided there will be no support for external midi controllers. How can it be so hard to implement basic MMC commands like start, stop and rec?

  3. I did the update, and all of my existing projects crash when I open them. I have Apple trying to help me. If I start a new project, no problem. Even Tonex works in a new project. But I gotta figure out those existing projects. That’s a huge problem.

  4. I only read the App Store description of the update and was underwhelmed, frankly. Thanks for pointing out some more of what’s on offer. Any update is welcome after 5 months, of course, and I hope we can expect many more now given that we are expected to subscribe.
