Should you SKIP the 4000 series Nvidia and next-gen AMD GPUs?

With Nvidia Lovelace and AMD’s RDNA 3 on the horizon I asked myself: Do I actually need a new graphics card yet? Maybe not, but with Unreal Engine 5 making waves in game development I might need a new one not too far down the line.
