Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max | 1 Month Review | Unboxing | Dynamic Island is a GAMECHANGER!!!

With the iPhone 14 Pro line being out for about a month now, I wanted to take some time to get a feel for it to determine whether or not there are any actual REAL WORLD differences that actually matter.

Thankfully, I can say that because of Dynamic Island, the always on display, and camera improvements, the iPhone 14 Pro line proves to be a WORTHY flagship phone in 2022. But is it worth upgrading from the already stellar iPhone 13 Pro? Stay tuned and make sure to drop your comments and thoughts down below!

  1. We have (1) 12 Pro Max, (2) 13 Pro Max and (1) 14 Pro Max in the house. I have to say the A16 chip is barely noticeable vs the 12 Pro Max but there is zero difference vs the A15. That's why they compared it against the A13. I also have an S22 Ultra in the house. I watch video and browse social media with the Samsung. The screen resolution is just so much more color rich than the 14 Pro Max. Also the 120Hz is way snappier on Samsung devices in my opinion. I hear the Gen 2 Snapdragon is going to be just as fast as the A16 and faster on the GPU side. BUT, for most of us who are so deep into the Apple ecosystem, the best hardware on an Android phone still won't get us to change as our daily.

  2. The only upgrade worth it within 1 generation is if you want to change the size of the phone you are currently using, otherwise its almost the same phone 14 pro vs 13 pro.

  3. Apple always hypes the cameras as a "massive improvement" over the previous model, but in the side-by-side tests and esp the blind side-by-side tests, you have to pause and pixel peep to see any improvements. For the 14 P/PM there was almost 0 discernable improvements over the 13/12 PM except in a few edge cases like shooting in full 48MP ProRaw and cropping in or some niche extreme low light tests. that's about it.

I did however still buy the Gold 512GB 14 PM, as it's been 9 years now on Android (last iPhone was the 5S) and I wanted something different. Though there are still some things I miss already from Android, overall this 14PM has been a noticeble upgrade and enjoyable experience to the Samsung S21 Ultra I had the last 2 years that it replaced.

  4. I moved from 13 pro to 14 pro max for the bigger screen. Huge enough improvement in screen size and the dynamic island is very underrated. Super useful and visually pleasing as well. If you’re happy on 12/13 pro max I’d say wait till 15 as you’ll probably see additional upgrades in addition to dynamic island. But it’s definitely a good phone and the deep purple is a beautiful color.

  5. I used to upgrade every until now, I upgraded to the 13 Pro because the 12 Mini’s battery & camera annoyed me ;-}. 13 being my favorite number I’m sticking with it for at least a year. As you mentioned the differences are getting smaller yearly it seems. Very informative video as usual. Thank you Sir.
