All FAT models can be modded, if you have a slim you might want to check the code under the PS3 and check on the wiki if it is compatible.

But would like to know. if I remove the CFW history & syscalls. I can't load a game from the HDD. What's the problem exactly? I watched a few videos but didn't get an answer. Have I perhaps forgotten to make some settings? Cobra is active
Cobra version is on debug.
with the PSN protector 'deactivated' I can also go online. But otherwise no mod works. Do I have to set something so that everything works? Got 4.90 Evilnat Dex on PS3

CECH-2501A which is my PS3 slim model is listed not as cfw compatible however, after using flash writer tool it's using a custom firmware. How could that be possible?
Hello, i have ps3 70gb fat with ofw 4.87, i want to change the hdd to 700gb and install a cfw 4.89
So can i just put the cfw on the usb drive and make the update with it after booting the ps with the new hdd?

Hello, can someone please help me? I'm on CFW 4.89 and I've also bought new IDS because I've been banned for ages. Now when I change my ID and want to go online, the error code 80023017 comes up and I don't know what to do. I've already set my np in the debug setting but it doesn't work either

As of today ps3xploit is completely down, use fureverme to install Cobra CFW on your PS3 till it's available, it is not possible to do HEN either at the moment otherwise.

I successfully installed CFW Cobra, Multiman, Webman, loaded the ps2 classic file but when starting the "Ps2 formate disc" it starts show the PS 2 logo and crashes the same if I start from multilane, web man ……whats the fix ?

Edit: fixed it if you follow his tutorial just make sure to use the second link on the furever website (the experimental one) since the other one does simply NOT work
