  1. I long ago stopped supporting Apples Business Model. It's based on

total greed, to the point that it is patently obvious they

could care less about offering their customers anything that

    even resembles long term value.

  2. Hey Hugh! Just watched through this after taking apart one myself. The trackpad needs to be replaced on the one I looked at and I ordered one. Did you end up doing tests to see if those are programmed to a different piece of hardware or if they can be interchanged with no issues?

  3. I just did a screen replacment on a M2 14" Air and it was somewhat more complex but not to bad expect for the LCD cable came unfolded and I had refold it around the 3 pieces that clamp and mount the cable to the chassis.. that was a pain in the arse and I did swear once or twice but got it done oh and the lid sensor being replaceable is a good thing as it has been a common issue on older macs but apple like to lock us out hence the whole recal tool etc..

  4. This pisses me off. It really sucks that Apple makes these wonderfully perfect products that fit so well into my life and use cases, only for them to do shit like this. I despise them for this. Unfortunately, I will still continue to buy phones, tablets, and laptops from them begrudgingly, because they work so well for me. Ugh.

  5. Apple like most other manufacturers is deliberately designing components that are hard to replace. Designed obsolescence eg buy new rather than repair. I have no interest in buying from manufactures that adopt these tactics. Same goes for Windows and the yearly subscription tactics and the constant updates. Now you know why Apple is so profitable.

  6. Hi!, I am facing the same issue with my Mac M1 Pro, the screen has rectangular shadows and jittery behaviour on the original display without causing any damage to it. Please tell what could be the possible reason and solution. Do I need to replace the original display via Apple?

  7. Why on earth does the inside of a machine, designed to be not opened or repaired by customers (no matter what Apple is claiming with its self repair pseudo program) have "decorative covers" inside?

  8. the only solutions is people stop buying Apples products, first they are very expensive they built for 300 and sell for 1500 second i think Apple is the world biggest company to contribute for electronic waste.
