In this video, Wayne manages to get his hands on Starlink. Perhaps one of the first in Kenya, and wow, this is a game-changer!

Whackstar Media is the community that supports Reverend Wayne Hackman. He is an Anglican Chaplain that enjoys technology, travel, aviation, amateur radio, and exploring the Christian faith. Thank you for visiting the channel, and I hope you find something interesting.

To help Wayne keep developing content, perhaps you might consider buying him a coffee? Or even better, why not become a regular supporter and be featured in the Whackstar Hall of Fame.

  1. Starlink is being used as a political tool by the US government. Kenya is very important for the US in East Africa and as such, they are setting up base there to counter Russia and China in that region.

  2. Will cost you 100k kununua
    Shipping 3,100
    Na monthly 6,500/-

If it's weed you're growing in rural areas one can afford it, but a normal hardworking farmer ataangalia bei atashtuka. Kwani Elon anafikiria wanagrow pesa huko mashambani 😂.

  3. This Awesome that you have received and have put it up. I am on the waiting list for Zimbabwe – apparently its supposed to be up by later this year. What I am not sure is hat the outside receive has to be outside and not safe not just leave it there (esp in the rural areas) – how are you coping with having it outside – do you take it every night? Or do you have it caged. Can you have a permanent place like in the roof ? Have a dish at the moment linking via satellite – but very slow – but at least its on one place. Thanks for the update.

  4. Would it be appropriate to consider it a game changer? In terms of revolutionary tech, perhaps so, but changing internet service provision, it might take a while. The prices associated with it are damn near biblical for the ordinary Kenyan. It's more of a niche product, and will be probably for the next decade as Elon figures how to make it more cost-effective/accessible.
