I was in and out of the dealership trying to pick a colour ready to order but after seeing this I am waiting (very impatiently๐) I just hope it happens soon my 5 year old is so excited..! She was the one who suggested Tesla and after test drive we fell in love (driving german car currently and the last 20 years)

So happy I got the limited edition wooden dash. If I drove 1 sec faster I don't think I would live longer in my neighbourhood who don't see me coming in chill mode. Fast enough voiding speeding fines, need lighter weight MY for better high speed cornering. Can easily mode the motor once out of warranty and public get use to EV speeds.

Good EV, awful looks, so over Tesla " design"
If this is the same battery pack as the current RWD model Y then Tesla can obviously offer a performance upgrade to the current RWD version like they do with the LRD. An extra form of revenue so why not? please Tesla I would like to order the upgrade ๐ ๐
This is surely a move to simplify parts supply and production processes. And given Teslaโs track record, the new parts will be costing them less, so they get an increase in profit per unit and the customer gets a better product.
Prefer the wood dash.

If you are considering to make a purchase on a Tesla, now itโs time to reconsider and buy a different EV. If you are in the space industry or government and considering business with SpaceX, maybe you should reconsider. We should not support Putin when it goes against our belief that our allies should be free.

As for the other changes- sounds great, especially lopping 1 sec off the 0 to 100 time. 6.9 seconds was just too slow for a Tesla!
I was talking to a Tesla sales person yesterday in New Zealand, he said he can confirm the next shipment from Tesla Shanghai, which is about to arrive in 4 weeks, doesn't has the updated Model Y. It means no updated model Y to NZ in the next two months at least, not sure if it is the same in Aus.
Just drove my 3 from Brisbane to Cairns. Loved it. I love Tesla.
